Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."


Wow! My Dog - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.

Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Rachel has accused Wow! My Dog of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.

Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I animal abuse email noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He said that he uses the method himself on his dogs.

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
